Bulk Operations

Perform actions on many albums simultaneously.

Selecting Multiple Albums

Click Selection

1. Ctrl+Click — Add individual albums to selection
2. Shift+Click — Select a range of albums
3. Ctrl+A — Select all visible albums

Selection Indicator

Selected albums show a checkmark or highlight. The toolbar displays the count.

Bulk Toolbar

When albums are selected, a bulk action toolbar appears.

Action	Effect
Add to Folder	Assign all selected to a folder
Remove from Folder	Remove from current folder
Edit	Bulk edit shared fields
Delete	Remove all selected
Export	Export selected albums

Bulk Edit

Change the same field across multiple albums.

1. Select albums
2. Click Bulk Edit in toolbar
3. Choose field to edit (Genre, Format, etc.)
4. Enter the new value
5. Click Apply

Only the selected field changes—other data stays intact.

Editable Fields

• Genre
• Format
• Media Condition
• Sleeve Condition
• Folder assignments
• Notes (append mode)

Bulk Folder Assignment

1. Select albums
2. Click Add to Folder
3. Choose the folder
4. All selected albums are added

Works for multiple folders—repeat as needed.

Bulk Delete

1. Select albums
2. Click Delete or press Delete key
3. Confirm the deletion

Warning: This permanently removes albums from your collection.

Clearing Selection

Action	Effect
Ctrl+D	Deselect all
Escape	Clear selection
Click empty area	Deselects

Tips

Tip	Description
Review before delete	Bulk delete is permanent
Use filters first	Filter to the albums you want, then Ctrl+A
Folder assignment stacks	Albums can be in multiple folders
Edit carefully	Bulk changes can't be easily undone

Troubleshooting

• Edit button disabled — Select albums with compatible fields.
• Some albums not deleted — Check if any are locked or syncing.
• Folder not showing — Create the folder first in Settings.
