Folders
Create custom folders to organize your collection however you like—by mood, genre, listening session, or any scheme that works for you.

Accessing Folders
Folders appear in the left sidebar under the Folders section. Click the section header to expand or collapse the folder list.
Creating a Folder
- Right-click in the Folders section of the sidebar
- Select Create New Folder
- Enter a folder name
- Optionally choose a color and icon
- Click Create
The folder appears immediately in your sidebar.

Folder Options
| Option | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name | Display name in sidebar and elsewhere |
| Color | Colored dot/badge for visual identification |
| Icon | Optional icon displayed before the name |
Adding Albums to Folders
Right-Click Menu
- Right-click any album in your collection
- Select Add to Folder
- Choose the target folder
- Album is added immediately
Drag and Drop
Drag albums directly onto a folder in the sidebar. Works with single albums or multiple selections.

Bulk Assignment
- Select multiple albums
- Right-click the selection
- Choose Add to Folder
- Select the folder
All selected albums are assigned.
Viewing Folder Contents
Click any folder in the sidebar to filter your collection to just that folder's albums. The main grid updates to show only folders contents.
Managing Folders
Rename a Folder
- Right-click the folder in the sidebar
- Select Rename
- Enter the new name
- Press Enter or click Save
Change Color or Icon
- Right-click the folder
- Select Edit Folder
- Adjust color and icon
- Save changes
Delete a Folder
- Right-click the folder
- Select Delete Folder
- Confirm deletion
Albums remain in your collection—only the folder is removed.
Removing Albums from Folders
- Right-click an album in the folder view
- Select Remove from Folder
The album stays in your collection but is no longer in that folder.
Troubleshooting
Albums can be in multiple folders
Add the same album to "Jazz" and "Late Night Listening"—there's no limit.
Folders don't affect your library
Deleting a folder never deletes albums. Only the organizational structure is removed.
